Embryo Transfer Centre
Twemlows Stud Farm specialises in Embryo Transfer and 2008 was highlighted by the arrival of Headley Britannia’s two foals born here at the stud. The foals were the result of embryo transfers carried out in 2007 (awarded through the Twemlows Burghley Scholarship – see below). Since then we have successfully carried out many embryo transfers at the stud and last year introduced the Transported Embryo Service. Please call us to find out more about this service.
As a result of the demand we have had for embryo transfer work we are looking for recipient mares over 16.2hh, who have for some reason become unrideable and are looking for a good home, age 3 to 9 years with no stable vices. We are given some mares – lent others – and occasionally pay for some!
