Foal & Yearling Management Course
A one day course designed to give an understanding of foal & yearling care.

The course covers the following areas:
- Worming & Vaccinations
- Common Diseases
- Weaning
- Nutrition & OCD
- Foal Handling & Foot care
- How to recognise when something is going wrong & what to do
- Practical Session – Examination Of Foal
The course is delivered by experienced veterinary surgeons and others with specialist knowledge in Equine Reproduction and Stud work. Our lecture panel includes: Dr Jonathan Pycock MRCVS of Equine Reproductive Services, Monica Morganti Dr.Med. Vet, Dipl ACT MRCVS, Miss Johanna Vardon MBE of The National Foaling Bank, Louise Jones MSc BSc(Hons) of Dodson & Horrell and Steve Lloyd RSS, Farrier.
Course notes will be provided and there will be refreshments (including a buffet lunch) available throughout the day.
