EQUINE VETERINARY DENTAL COURSE

THIS COURSE IS FOR VETERINARIANS WHO ARE ALREADY REGULARLY PRACTISING BASIC DENTISTRY AND WOULD LIKE TO EXTEND THEIR KNOWLEDGE FURTHER.

  • ADVICE ON EFFECTIVELY  MARKETING DENTISTRY

THERE IS A LARGE PRACTICAL ELEMENT TO THIS TWO DAY COURSE THEREFORE PLACES ARE RESTRICTED TO JUST 12 DELEGATES.

INFORMATION ON LECTURERS

Travis J Henry DVM  attended the Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine, he started his own practice in 1996 which included all aspects of equine practice. Dr. Henrys interests were dentistry, lameness and reproduction. The practice was sold in 2003 and Dr Henry started Midwest Equine Services which focuses on dentistry, both providing a service to clients and educating other Veterinians, he provides all aspects of dentistry from routine dentals, fillings and endodontics to oral surgery. He travels the world training Veterinarians on equine dentistry and regularly lectures at AAEP and BEVA courses.  He also designs some of the most innovative equine dental tools on the market today.

Miriam Casey MRCVS graduated from Dublin and spent three years in mixed and equine practice before commencing a 3 year clinical training scholarship in equine dentistry at the equine hospital in Bristol University.  As well as clinical dental work she has a research interest in dental pulpitis (apical infections) and imaging in equine cheek teeth.  She is currently engaged in a PhD at the University of Glasgow.
