Foal & Yearling Management Course
A one day course designed to give an understanding of foal & yearling care.
The day consists of lectures on a variety of topics and ends with practical examination of both foal and yearling. The following topics are covered;
- Worming & Vaccinations
- Common Diseases
- Weaning
- Nutrition & OCD
- Foal Handling & Foot care
- How to recognise when something is going wrong & what to do
Course Date: 22nd March 2026
Course notes will be provided and there will be refreshments (including a buffet lunch) available throughout the day.
The day starts at 8.45am with coffee and registration with lectures beginning at 9.15am. The course will aim to finish at 16.45pm with a tour of the facilities.
